HUGE FLASH!!!!!  At the Kent KC in Chatham, ON, Paige started out the weekend on Friday by winning BOB over a Special, BPIB, BPIG and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!!!  She was owner/breeder/handled by Francine Gillanders which made it even more special.  The Breed and Group judge was Judge Mr. Brian Taylor.  The Best Puppy In Show judge was Judge Ms. Sharon Derrick.

Saturday Paige thrilled everyone by winning BPIB and BPIG under Judge Wendy Paquette.

Sunday was beyond thrilling because Paige kept up the pace and showed ALL the true meaning of a show dog even at the tender age of just nine months old.  She won BOB over two Specials, BPIB, BPIG and a GROUP 4 (Adult Group).  She didn't stop there!  She continued her winning ways by being awarded BEST PUPPY IN SHOW for the second time in the weekend.  The Breed and Group judge was Judge Ms. Sharon Derrick and the Best Puppy In Show judge was Judge Mr. Brian Taylor.  

Paige won Best Puppy In Show at the Kent KC under Judge Sharon Derrick on November 20, 2009.  She was owner/breeder/handled by Francine Gillanders of Uppercut Boxers.  Way to go Paige and Francine!!!  To get to BPIS Paige won BOB over one Special and was Best Puppy In Group under Judge Brian Taylor with Francine Gillanders handling her.

Paige finished her Canadian Championship by winning WB, BOW, BPIB, and BOS over a Special for 3 points at the tender age of 7 1/2 months old all owner/breeder handled.  She finished her championship at the Essex County Kennel Club under Judge Judi Elford.  Paige is owned and bred by Jim and Francine Gillanders of Uppercut Boxer.

The win that made Paige a Canadian Champion also made her half brother, Can. Ch. DC’s Inside Trader At Shadigee, a new Canadian Champion too.  Her other half brother, Shadigee’s Highroller aka Jailai, was Reserve Winners Dog today.   All of these wonderful kids were sired by our handsome boy, BISS Am/BPIS Can. Ch. Summer’s Blackjack Of Shadigee SOM.

Paige’s mother is a Sabre daughter, Am/Can. Ch. Berlane’s Caus’n An Uproar.  She was linebred to Blackjack who is a son of Stella, Can. Ch. Berlane’s Wild Thing Stella CD DOMC.  Stella is littermate to Sabre.  It was an excellent line breeding which produce some lovely puppies.

Watch for Paige’s litter sister in the ring.  She is a plain black brindle girl with lots of attitude.  Her name is Uppercut’s Black Rose Isabel aka Isabel also owned and bred by Jim and Francine Gillanders of Uppercut Boxers.  www.uppercutboxers.ca
